Furious 7 — This series seems to be one of those situations where either you were a fan of the franchise, or you weren’t. I had to drag my boyfriend to watch the last one with me, and F+F 6 was so amazing that he was the one leading me to the theater this time around. What I like about it is that besides being some of the most amazing stunts that I’ve ever seen in my life, it truly was a movie about family. It was so refreshing to see a film with a very diverse cast, that was really representative of what a modern-day group of friends from LA would look like. While it’s debatable whether or not this entry was the best of the series, there’s no question in my mind that the ending will make anyone teary-eyed if not cry in the theater.

Courgettes — Summer squash are my favorite type of vegetable because they’re so versatile. You can add them to soups, stir-frys, deep fry them, or my favorite—cut them into match sticks and make fritters out of them. Although they’re available all-year round in most regular supermarkets, when you see them at the farmer’s market, get them. The prime season for courgettes is late-April to the end of August. That’s why they’re often called summer squash. Plus this is one vegetable that freezes beautifully. I just buy a ton of them whenever I see them, and whatever I don’t use right away, I slice them really thinly, par-steam them, and then just pop them into the freezer for like 7 months. YUM.

Tide Pods — I’m a sucker for all things that are fat and chubby. These pods are seriously adorable. I just want to squeeze them before putting them in the laundry. I’m not sure how much more effective these things are compared to Tide liquid, but I just love the convenience factor. Particularly if you don’t have an easily accessible laundry machine, you don’t want to lug back and forth a bottle to go with your laundry, so just throwing in a pre-measured Pod is seriously the best. Plus I’m so lazy to do laundry that it seems petty, but just taking out that
extra step of measuring the cap and cleaning the spills has been literally a BLESSING. (I told you this was petty) so trust me when I’m telling you that once you can stop having to measure anything again, you’ll never go back to anything else. This is like going from powdered detergent to liquid. No joke, a game-changer.
